It was the worst time and the best time to be asking Madara this; the worst because how dare Hashirama be bringing up propositions that involved tough decision-making while Izuna was bleeding out, and the best because a dying sibling would only reinforce the urgency of this peace offering. But Hashirama would have healed the other in the blink of an eye without a prompt from Madara-- as long as he was permitted to.
Permission was granted, though, and Hashirama dropped his gaze to the younger Uchiha once more. He said nothing, only nodded once as he bridged the gap between them and gestured to Madara to lay the injured man on the ground.
However, in the instant that Hashirama's knee touched the ground, he felt Tobirama shift, shuffling forward by an inch. "Don't--" Don't come any closer. You've done enough.
When he was certain that his brother wasn't going to interfere, Hashirama's fingers began to glow, pulsing with chakra as he brought it to the wound. "Tear open the fabric for me, and try not to touch the wound."
...Meanwhile, Tobirama watched with an expression that was hard to read, yet easy to misunderstand.
It's okay! I'll be slow too because uni D:
